A careful approach to new horizons without losing the heart of the original philosophy and spirit that created this model. For the LAC: reinforcing the strong aspects the Center has, and letting the group's creativity flow to find new ways to do things. -Amparo

I think the most urgent task for the LAC is being able to balance a growing number of students with the educational model of Friends World. It is important to grow without jeopardizing our belief in personalized education, small groups and community. This is not an easy task at all, but it is our responsibility to face this situation and come up with a workable solution. There have been several proposals including having two centers in Latin America; having two groups in the same center and having two centers in Costa Rica. Any of the options mentioned above would inevitably have pros and cons, but we will have to make our choice sooner than later.
