Friends World has given me a new perspective in my professional career for I never thought I would be so involved in education. Friends World represents an every day challenge since it is always dynamic. It gives me the opportunity to implement different teaching techniques and be creative. Friends World is also a place through which one can make a change in society through education. Finally, Friends World is an endless chance to be a better educator and human being.

Learning through experience is a wonderful way of learning. It offers the opportunity to learn to become an independent learner for the rest of your life. You have power to plan your learning experiences according to your interests, to what gives you passion, and explore. It is difficult and challenging because someone else has always told you what we have to learn you are in charge now. It requires discipline because you are responsible for what you do and what you don’t. Learning other languages is a treasure; it opens many new worlds. I think a valuable thing about Friends World is that it offers the opportunity to learn other languages by immersion, learning also about the culture of the people that speak it. -Ileana
