Some favorite locations in Costa Rica

Corcovado national Park. Pristine tropical rain forest, cultural diversity and a beautiful sea.-Vivienne

Puerto Viejo, Limón. I love the combination of exotic vegetation, different foods, people and the beach. -yazmín

Near Ciudad Quesada, (close to San Carlos), there are hot springs connected to the Arenal volcano. The river is supposed to be cold because of the area and altitude, but with the hot springs, the water of the river is warm, even hot in some parts. I like it because of the beauty of nature that surrounds the river (old trees, morpho butterflies, toucano birds..), and also because it teaches you that appearances are not that important. -Amparo

My favorite place in Costa Rica is a small town in the mountains to the east of San José called Rancho Redondo. This town is a small community where traditions and modernity converge without changing the humanness of the people. The place is located just about an hour from San José and yet one feels as if the distance was much more. A very distinctive characteristic of Rancho Redondo is that one can look at the whole Central Valley of Costa Rica through a wonderful frame of nature while enjoying a wonderful relaxing silence all around. -Antonio

Costa Rica is such a beautiful country. There are so many places I love that this is a very difficult question to answer. -Iliana

My favorite places are, I would say, the green mountains because they bring me peace and freedom!
-Guiselle

Some places in countryside such as CoopeSanJuan in the north of Costa Rica, because they fill my spirit with enthusiasm and romanticism when I visit them. Also my own home because I am with my kids seeing them grow. -Rafa
