Our Dreams

Our dreams, while fast asleep and in waking life:

  • Take a year to walk across the U.S., from DC to san francisco, living out of my backpack. -Allison

  • That humanity will someday find its path again. I dream of the Earth free if our greedy power, ours waters slowly cleansed, the forests regenerated…

I dream of women, equal and free, strong and vibrant.

  • To be happy. To live simply and have all that I need, not excess, but just enough. And to be surrounded with beautiful people who live life because they want to, because they love it, not being consumed by the culture of craziness that tends to surround us sometimes. Most importantly, to be an active part of change and awareness, to be a voice for the voiceless, and to never stop being aware of my own privilege that enables me to be as strong and powerful as I am. -Alder
  • I usually dream about being famous in some way and ending up on TRL on MTV with everyone in time square jumping around yelling for me...its a really scary dream! -meredith w.

  • About a week ago I had a dream about riding a huge bicycle around the area where I live (in the US, not here). Someone I was in love with was riding another one next to me. We were holding hands for part of the time. It was so much fun! I've been wanting to get on a bicycle ever since. -Sarah
  • To live in a sustainable manner in the countryside of the Northeastern US. -mike

  • I have lots of weird dreams but I don't remember any. In waking life I hope to become a really good listner. You know what I mean...one of those people who listens more than they talk! They are the cool people. Friends world has been a very difficult program to adapt to. I'm to told I can do anything, but thats not specific enough! I know that I will adapt to the program eventually but right now I feel stuck. -Julia

  • To be able to develop a cooperative where people will work based on values such as solidarity, transparency, respect and friendship. Work with happiness. -Vivienne
  • To have a sustainable organic farm. -Yazmin

  • About two months ago I dreamt of my two months old daughter. She was eating solid food with her little hands (something she couldn't do), then there were bunches of garlic everywhere, and finally I saw my little daughter smiling. My interpretation of this dream is the following: there will be food, health and happiness in my life. I wish the world a dream like mine. -Antonio
